Important Information
Check-in and Check-out Procedures
- Check-in is after 4pm and check-out is by 10am.
- Due to its size and scale, same-day turnarounds are not permitted. A minimum of one day block will be required between all reservations.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
Property Access
- The driveway is paved but is one lane, very steep, and has multiple switchbacks. It is navigable with a regular car.
- All vehicles coming during the winter months must have 4WD or AWD and tires with good tread. Chains may also be necessary during winter months.
- Vehicles over 20 feet in length should not try to navigate this driveway.
Policies and Rules
- No smoking allowed inside the home.
- Minimum age: 25 years.
- Children allowed. Children should always be kept under supervision and not allowed to horseplay due to antique pieces of art and furniture in the home.
- No events of any kind allowed at the property.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Please keep outside noise respectable.
- Quiet hours: 10PM. Please note there are full time residents in the valley below, and sound travels far in the mountains.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book or digital guidebook.
- No pets allowed.
Fees and Payments
- All reservations are subject to a $1,500 refundable security deposit.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You will receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax per night.
- Cancellation Policy: Bookings canceled within 24 hours of creation will receive a full refund. Bookings canceled more than 24 hours after creation are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
Parking Information
- The property offers open-air paved parking for 6-7 vehicles, as well as space for 2 vehicles in the garage for guest use.
- Vehicles over 20 feet in length should not try to navigate the driveway.
Utilities and Amenities Access
- Towels and bed linens are provided.
- Hair dryer is provided.
- Kitchens are well-stocked with essentials for cooking. A starter set of paper products is provided, including a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and makeup remover cloths. These items are sufficient for one or two nights.
- The only TVs with cable are noted in the description. Other TVs offer Roku streaming services.
Safety and Emergency Information
- Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector are present in the property.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains are recommended during winter (Nov-March). No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given for failure to arrive with proper vehicle as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
